About the Event

Erin Garrison, cofounder and executive director of Food Is Free Albuquerque (FIFABQ) will join present at the South Broadway Library to explain efforts to combat food insecurity in Albuquerque by harnessing the power of local gardens and fruit trees.

People can sign up their fruit trees and FIFABQ volunteers will help harvest the fruit and take it to local food organizations feeding our commUnity. 

This process is known as gleaning. Find out about their exciting work and how you can become involved. Registration Required.
