About the Event
You can make a positive impact every time you shop through La Montañita Food Co-op’s Round Up for Change program. Donations from the program directly support New Mexico nonprofits working in our community.
How does it work? We’re glad you asked! During check out, you have the option to round up your change to the next even dollar amount.
Here’s an example: If your purchase is $4.76 and you would like to round up, let your cashier know and they will round up to the next even dollar amount, $5.00. That’s a 24¢ donation to a non-profit doing good work (FIFABQ) for the New Mexico community!Â
It may not sound like much on its own, but it really adds up!Â
