In early 2020 FIFABQ hung fliers and door knocked not only to register fruit trees but to help Tree New Mexico measure the health of Albuquerque's canopy. ​
Mission
Canopy health helps keep our city cool, increase urban biodiversity, provide plants and animals with a favorable habitat, food. They also provide protection.
PLUS - they are just nice to sit under!
Why is Tree Mapping Important?

It allows the State Urban Forester to monitor our canopy health
